Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) Military Division.

A fine EIIR example of the neck badge being a silver gilt cross patonce surmounted by a Crown, the arms of the cross in translucent pearl grey enamel; the centre bearing the conjoined busts of King George V and Queen Mary within a red enamel circlet inscribed “For God and the Empire” on a ground. Excellent condition. Housed in its Koye, Kenning & Spencer fitted case of issue. Has been worn from the miniature ribbon but is complete with original full size neck ribbon.
