This is an attributed example worn by Private J. Revill of the 10th (Shropshire and Cheshire Yeomanry) Bn KSLI.
A very scarce example comprising a white broken spur embroidered onto a green felt diamond.

This Division, originally Yeomanry, was dismounted and turned into an Infantry Division. The Divisional commanded selected the broken spur as a reminder of the sacrifice made by the Yeoman when they gave up their horses.
