Good scarce ORIGINAL post 1925 bronzed lapel badge, by Toye & Co Ld,London; the reverse impressed with Reg. No 726347 and stamped with official issue number 2014 B. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting.
Height 23mm.
The Old Contemptibles Association was founded by Capt JP Danny of the Royal Artillery on June 25th 1925, all members were known as 'chums' and were the survivors of the First British Expeditionary Force of August-November 1914.
